Payment can be made by check to the order of the Rencontres d'Arles or international bank transfers. Accessible in the framework of continuous job training.
REGISTRATION
Registration is confirmed only after the validation of the training contract generated by the festival's ticketing website and the payment of a 30% deposit, subject to the available number of places. The balance is paid during the course.
Subject to the number of available places, and unless a course is cancelled due to an insufficient number of enrollees, participants can register until the day before the course starts. Unless otherwise stated in the course description, the list of participants is drawn up as and when the registration forms are received. No registration or booking can be made by phone.
PAYMENT
Online payments are made in one operation on the festival's ticketing website, but they are automatically taken in two steps. The first payment (30%) is made automatically at the end of the 14-day right-to-cancel period and the balance is paid automatically during the course. For those with a bank account in France, the deposit and balance (see the registration procedure section) must be paid online or by check in euros made out to "Les Rencontres d'Arles". The deposit is taken after 14 days (see right-to-cancel period below). People living abroad can pay online or by bank transfer (contact us for bank details).
THE RIGHT TO CANCEL
After registering online or by mail, participants have 14 days to cancel their participation and payment without charge. The sums will not be withdrawn.
NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS/WAITING LIST
The number of participants is limited to 12 for courses lasting more than three days, eight for weekend courses and 15 for one-day courses. If a course is full, you can go on a waiting list and must send us (if you haven’t already) a registration form accompanied by the deposit, which will not be cashed (only in this specific case) before a place is available. When registering, we advise you to select a second course in the event that your first choice is sold-out at the time the registration is received.
CANCELLATION OF REGISTRATION
If the cancellation request is received after the 14-day right-to-cancel period expires (see 4.6 of the GTC) and more than 40 days before the course starts, a flat-rate compensation of 90 euros will be deducted from the deposit. In the event of cancellation less than 41 days before the course starts, a lump-sum indemnity will be retained that is equivalent to the amount of the 30 percent deposit on the course fee. Once the course has begun, any cancellation, abandonment or interruption shall result in the invoicing of a flat fee equivalent to the total price of the course. The sums due as compensation are mentioned as such and cannot be considered educational expenses. If a participant cannot attend the course due to duly recognized force majeure, only the services provided are due on a pro rata basis of their scheduled value.
CANCELLED COURSES
The Rencontres d'Arles rarely cancels courses. However, this can occur if not enough registered participants have signed up for a course or the course leader is no longer available for an exceptional reason.
If a course is cancelled, the Rencontres d'Arles will study all the possibilities to offer another in consultation with those already enrolled. It is advisable to mention a second choice on the registration form. If no solution is found, the Rencontres d'Arles will reimburse the sums paid at the time of registration. The Rencontres d'Arles reserves the right to cancel a course due to a lack of participants up to 20 days before the course starts. No compensation or reimbursement of additional expenses (transportation or accommodation) incurred by a participant whose course is cancelled will be made.
ACCOMPANYING PERSONS > People accompanying disabled persons must contact us for further information. No charge is generally requested except for some travel expenses (trains, boat, etc.), which can be invoiced if the presence implies additional expenses to the training organization.
