Alessia Locatelli is Artistic Director of the International Female Photography Biennial - BFF (www.bffmantova.com) in Italy and co-director of Enrico Cattaneo’s Archive.
Independent curator, she moves in the organization of exhibitions with institutions and private realities, while in parallel she continues to create curating projects and consulting activities. She’s signature of some specialized magazines and critical referent of the Photography Dossier: "CAM, catalog of modern art" Editoriale Giorgio Mondadori - Cairo Group.
She teaches in photography schools and collaborates as lecturer and visiting professor with universities (Raffles Milan). She participates in international juries and awards, including the British Journal of Photography, and as folio-reviewer in various Photo Festivals such as Les Rencontres d'Arles. She’s also a Nominator at the prestigious Prix Pictet, and responsible for supporting and assisting authors in the selection of Fineart papers and mounting materials useful for conservation and selling.
