Eyal Landesman is an artist, social activist, founder and director of PHOTO IS:RAEL. His works include photographs and motion art such as Her Morning Elegance which as nominated for the 2010 Grammy award, in the video clip category, and shown at Cannes Lion Festival, L.A. Film Festival, contemporary film festival at the Centre Pompidou and SXSW. Harvard University purchased in 2006 the archive of Landesman’s works.
In 2009 he founded and is since the director of the independent international festival The Israeli Photography Festival, which exhibits contemporary photography with a focus on young talents as well a social issues using the visual language of photography.
Landesman is one of the nominator for the international Prix Pictet, Foam talent and Leica Oskar Barnack Award.
