- After studying cinema theory at the Panthéon-Sorbonne, Alexe made several short fiction films and experimental works. Working regularly in the field of photography, she regularly makes photographic films, seeking to innovate and shake up the medium. In 2021, she revived the photographic film festival Les Nuits Photos and became its artistic director. Alexe is also a documentary filmmaker. After Scars of Cambodia, she made a number of short creative documentaries, and in 2021 completed Sinjar Naissance Des Fantômes, tackling the subjects of resilience and memory through the eyes of the Yezidi community in Iraqi Kurdistan. Her approach is distinctive in that it combines the aesthetics and techniques of fiction with documentary writing.
- Rennes-based photographer Michel Belhomme, who graduated from the École des Beaux-Arts de Rennes and Université de Rennes 2, is a professor, lecturer, curator and photography critic. Since 2014, he has been represented by the Binome gallery in Paris and Cuadro Art in Dubai. He exhibits regularly at festivals, institutions and galleries in France and abroad and won the Voix OFF Prize in Arles and the Solas Photography Prize in Dublin.
