Lars Willumeit
Born 1974, in Frankenthal/Pfalz, Germany. Lives and works in Zurich, Switzerland.
Lars Willumeit is a German social anthropologist who works as independent curator, photo-editor and author. He has been working with photography in different modes since 1993. His interests are in photography, documentarisms, regimes of representation and visual cultures. Also trained as a photographer, he has worked nearly thirteen years as photo-editor for magazines such as Geo and DU, where he served as photo-director from 2008-2013.
