After earning a Ph.D. in art history, Pascal Neveux worked at Art Public Contemporain and the Jean Gabriel Mitterrand gallery before joining Madeleine Van Doren at the Credac in Ivry-sur-Seine in 1992. From 1999 to 2006, he was the head of FRAC Alsace in Sélestat. At FRAC Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur in Marseille, which he has led since 2006, he directed the architectural project designed by Kengo Kuma, inaugurated in March 2013 in the framework of Marseille Provence, European Capital of Culture. Since 2013, he has been president of Marseille Expos, a network of over 40 contemporary art venues, museums, centers and galleries in metropolitan Marseille. He has written texts and articles about many French and foreign artists and curated exhibitions for many institutions in France and abroad.
