Wang Yiquan, is an active figure in China’s contemporary art scene as a curator and an artist. His creative practice and research interests lie in image making, film, performance, and urbanism. Having devoted himself to a diverse set of intertwining issues for over a decade, Wang’s artistic approach and development are multi-faceted yet highly integrated. He has curated various thematic exhibitions, including projects at Jimei x Arles International Photo Festival (2022), Shanghai Minsheng Art Museum (2021), Contemporary Theatre Biennale, Shenzhen (2018), Shanghai Urban Space Art Season (2017), and Beijing Design Week (2016).
