Ravi Agarwal has an inter-disciplinary practice as a photographer, artist, environmental campaigner, writer and curator. His work has been shown widely including at the Biennials of Sharjah (2013), Kochi (2016), Yinchuan (2018) and Havana (2019), and in exhibitions like Documenta XI (2002) and Indian Highway (2009). He co-curated the Indo-European public art projects Yamuna-Elbe (2011) and Embrace our Rivers (2018) and was photography curator for the 2018 and 2019 Serendipity Arts Festival. He also organized New Natures: A terrible beauty is born at Goethe Institute Mumbai (2018). He writes and publishes regularly on art and sustainability. He is also the founder of the environment NGO Toxics Link.
