William Ewing was head of the Musée de l’Élysée in Lausanne (Switzerland) from 1996 to 2010. Today he is a curator for the Foundation for the Exhibition of Photography in Minneapolis (the United States) and the Fondation Carène (Switzerland). He has worked on shows at MoMA (New York), the Centre Georges-Pompidou (Paris), the Serpentine Gallery (London) and the Folkwang Museum (Essen). His recent publications are about Edward Burtynsky and William Wegman.
