GLOBAL WARMING WAS CREATED BY THE CHINESE
The current political situation with regard to the environment seems so absurd and outrageous that last March I offered an equally absurd response in a solo show called Comme un ouragan (Like a hurricane), global warming was created by the Chinese. It featured frescoes of colored apocalyptic visions and fade-out installations.
I’ve been very interested in the themes of travel and the environment in recent years. I’m sensitive to matters involving nature and its overexploitation to the point of depletion. My poster project aims to convert ecological issues into a convincing work. I offer approximately 60 images taken during recent trips and processed like digital paintings. When dealing with nature and its destruction, you’re better o doing it with a hint of irony.
