Hannah Whitaker
Born in 1980 in Washington D.C. Lives and works in New York.
Hannah Whitaker holds a BA from Yale and an MFA from ICP/Bard. Recent group exhibitions include those at Casey Kaplan in New York and Pepin Moore, Cherry and Martin, and M+B in Los Angeles. In addition, she had a solo exhibition at the Thierry Goldberg gallery in New York in April 2012. Recent projects include co-editing issue 45 of Blind Spot magazine, co-curating (both along with Matthew Porter) its accompanying exhibition at Invisible Exports in New York, and editing Triple Canopy’s issue 12, Black Box. She is also a contributing editor for Triple Canopy and teaches at Parsons The New School for Design.
