Antoine Gonin
Born in 1951 in Paris. Lives and works in Bougival, France.
Passionate about advertising and industrial photography, Antoine Gonin mainly takes photographs for French and European companies. In 2000 he published Éloge de l’avenir (In Praise of the Future, Delpire Éditeur), a book of black and white photos focused on France’s major industrial achievements at the end of the 20th century. The photographs in this book have been shown in sixty exhibitions around the world, in collaboration with the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Horizons (Delpire Éditeur), published in 2008 and also in black and white, is a personal work that encourages the reader to discover a singular vision of France’s architectural and natural heritage. His Empreinte series marks the completion of his work on landscape.
