Miren Pastor graduated from the University of the Basque Country with a degree in fine arts. In Madrid, she studied photography at the Blank Paper school, where she has been a coordinator since 2009. She has published two photo books on her Bidean project and her work has been shown on several occasions in Spain (the Gema Llamazares gallery, Sala Amárica de Vitoria, Huarte Contemporary Art Centre and Alcobendas Art Centre) and at the Circulation(s) festival in Paris. In 2016, she won the public prize of the ING Unseen Talent Award.
