Fatima MAZMOUZ
Born in 1974 in Casablanca, Morocco.
Lives and works in the Paris area.
She holds a postgraduate degree in art history, has been taking photographs since 1994, and making videos since 2000.
Her most recent shows include group events in 2005 at the 11th Salon de la Photographie, staged by the Moroccan association for photographic art (AMAP) in Rabat, in December; and at the 6th Rencontres Africaines de la Photographie in Bamako, Mali. She also featured in Morocco's official selection at the 2005 FIAV video art festival in Barcelona, Spain.
Fatima Mazmouz presented her work at the Rencontres d’Arles in 2006 : Histoire de femmes at the Magasin Electrique.
