Lisa ROSS

Lives and works in New York
Lisa Ross lives and works in New York City. Much of her work over the past 10 years has been made in Asia and North Africa. She has spent a great deal of time teaching and working with New York City youth using both photography and video.  Lisa’s work has been reviewed in the New York Times and New York Magazine. Recently her work was featured in Steppe Magazine. She received The Hayward Prize and a merit scholarship from Columbia University where she earned her MFA and taught undergraduate courses as an adjunct professor. Lisa has exhibited her work and lectured throughout the US, Europe and North Africa.
Lisa Ross is represented by Daneyal Mahmood Gallery in New York City.
