Avant-garde filmmaker Barbara Hammer offers a rereading, from the island of Jersey, of the love affair and creative adventure of the extraordinary artist couple Claude Cahun and Marcel Moore. Composed as a collage of photographs, documents and interviews interspersed with fictional scenes, the film retraces the life and work of two women whose work and destiny have been unjustly forgotten.
