Olivier Metzger died on November 2 at the age of 49.
He was a talented portrait photographer at the Modds agency. After studying at the ENSP in 2004, Arles became his beloved adopted city. Olivier was a faithful friend of the Rencontres d'Arles for over 10 years. After exhibiting there in 2009 and 2012, he led photography workshops and participated in the festival's educational activities.
We will miss his high standards, generosity, kindness and deep, subtle gaze.
The festival pays tribute to him.
