The photographer, painter, poet and film director, Ouka Leele passed away on May 24th, 2022.

Ouka Leele was an important figure of the spanish photographic scene and an incredible actress of the Movida from Madrid known for her explosive creativity, her poesy, generosity and fantaisy.

She exhibited her work at the Rencontres d'Arles in 1987, 1995 and 2019 where she designed the poster of the edition.

The Rencontres d'Arles pays tribute to her.
