Virtual reality, augmented reality, sound spatialization, interactive screens... what do these new virtual technologies have to say about our time? In the company of artists, authors and thinkers who are exploring these new media, Fisheye is joining forces with the Gaîté Lyrique to offer a new event dedicated to immersive experiences.

A new festival born from the collaboration with Fisheye, Les Ailleurs is a territory of experimentation and discussion on our lifestyles through the prism of immersive technologies. For 3 months, the festival will take place on our entire second floor, a new space dedicated to immersive, audio and visual writing. The program, realized in partnership with Fabbula, articulates an exhibition of digital works, discovery workshops and animations for everyone, exploring immersion in all its forms.

Les Ailleurs is an exhibition, but it is also a competition. The ten digital works programmed as part of the festival bring together multi-sensory devices and immersive technologies: virtual or augmented reality, sound spatialization or interactive screens. They compete for the festival's grand prize (worth €10,000), awarded by a multidisciplinary jury during the opening week.


The program:

• Permanent exhibition of the 10 selected works.
• Artistic performances, broadcasted online on Twitch and YouTube Live.
• Cycle of conferences "Les Rencontres du Virtuel" on the current state of immersive creation.
• Physical and virtual concerts.
• Masterclasses and VJing performances.
• Invitation to Captain Future, our program for 5-12 year olds.
• DIY workshops for all ages: augmented reality games, interaction, sound immersion, virtual reality narration...
