Looking at the City
Arles is the ideal setting to move beyond photography’s technical aspects and focus on building a point of view. A sensitive journey through Arles will allow participants to discover many spaces—a pretext for creating a personal story.
They will explore a multi-faceted city shaped by the Rhône and marked by its millennia-old but also contemporary heritage, cultural richness and traditions.
Street photography, cityscapes, architecture, life scenes and a documentary approach will be so many possibilities guiding everyone's choices.
Participants will overcome any possible technical challenges in the field before experimenting, specifying an approach and defining a personal theme, distance and attitude. By alternating between shooting and editing, they will move towards a singular style to give their view of the city
Discovering a few photographers will enrich everyone's approach.
