Virginie Chardin is an exhibition curator and author. She has curated numerous exhibitions includind the retrospectives Willy Ronis (Hotel de Ville de Paris), Pierre de Fenoÿl and Frank Horvat (Jeu de Paume Tours and Paris), Sabine Weiss (Jeu de Paume, Rencontres d'Arles, Casa dei Tre Oci, Venice) or Denis Darzacq (Pavillon Carré de Baudoin, Paris).
She was project manager at the Nicéphore-Niépce museum, in charge of the Rencontres d'Arles prices and delegate of the Mois de la Photo in Paris. Sponsor of the 2023 Filles de la Photo Mentoring program and nominator for the 2024 Niépce prize, she is the winner of the 2024 Rencontres d'Arles curatorial research fellowship.
