The Annie Gabrielli gallery was created in October 2011. In late 2020, it became a mobile gallery that travels to places depending on the projects and artists. Based in Montpellier, it focuses on contemporary photography and multidisciplinary experiments (video, drawings, installations). It represents, promotes and supports emerging and established artists, each of whom uses his or her own language to express a reflection on our humanity.
The gallery does not exhibit nudes, conventional travel photographs or illustrative pictures (nature, architecture, etc.). Participations: 2012 to 2016, 2019: Boutographies (Rencontres Photographiques de Montpellier): exhibitions, Between 2012 and 2019, the gallery takes part of Les Boutographies (Rencontres Photographiques de Montpellier): with exhibitions and portfolios reviews.
In 2013, she is part of the Boutographies jury and has an exhibition called Chorus, for “Off” Arles. Between 2013 and 2019, she is a reviewer for the Photo Folio Review in Arles.
The gallery is cofounder of the event Open spaces in 2015, an art contemporary circuit in Montpellier with a multidisciplinary program. Multiple times, the gallery works (2015, 2016, 2017) with Fotofever (contemporary photography) at Le Caroussel du Louvre à Paris, as well as with La Fondation Manuel Rivera-Ortiz in Arles in 2017 and Lille Artup!
In 2019 for a focus on photography. In 2018 she was a part of YIA Artfair (contemporary art) at the Carreau du Temple in Paris and of Lille Artup! In 2020. In 2021, she joins Solid’art and the Secours Populaire in Montpellier.
