Marina Amada is an independent curator and art project producer. Her notable curatorial projects include TOKYOSAÏ (2024), Fill in the Blanks by Kazuma Obara (KYOTOGRAPHIE International Photography Festival, Kyoto, 2021), Story of a Bridge between Two Worlds by Marie Liesse (KYOTOGRAPHIE, 2020; National Museum of Ethnology, 2021) and Big Hug Transformation (Paris, 2019). She also served as the chief operating officer of the 7th edition of KYOTOGRAPHIE. She is the co-founder of the collective SPECTRUM which initiates artistic projects in collaboration with international art curators on gender and diversity in Japan.
