Atelier Fujifilm - Magali Delporte
Follow, step by step, the realisation of a portrait for the press
05 July
1h30, gratuit
In this workshop, you will follow me in the creation of a portrait as I do several times a week on commission for the press.
With my GFX100 II, optics and lighting, we will look for the right place (architecture, lines, light), choose the lighting (reflectors, flashes, LEDs) and do the editing for final sending to the client. The timing will be very tight, it is a challenging exercise, just like in real life!
Friday July 5, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Free
This program is offered as part of FUJIKINA which takes place at the Quiqueran de Beaujeu hotel, 16, rue des Arènes. Workshops upon registration, 1 registration per person maximum
Workshop in English only
MAGALI DELPORTE
Through portraiture, Magali Delporte seeks to accurately reveal the personality of her subjects. She discovered photography during her journalism studies, adopting the photographic essay method. In London, she perfected her art at The Independent and The Times. Her project Unseen: Sport Without Sight on blind athletes won her the Canon/AFJ Prize for Female Photojournalists in 2001 and an exhibition at Visa pour l'Image in Perpignan.
Based in Paris, she collaborates with the press, photographing artists, athletes and political figures. At the same time, she develops personal projects, exploring intimate themes linked to her family, her status as a woman and photographer, as well as her immediate environment, as evidenced in her book La Résidence.
