At the end of the 1970s, Miguel Trillo took photographs of rock concert audiences. Over the last two decades, he’s been traveling among Asian capitals, interested in the new aesthetics of pop music, manga, and street fashion. His work on urban tribes is a type of photographic documentation with a conceptual aim. This is expressed as much in his fanzines and catalogues (in the form of copies of postcards and stamps), as it is in his installations.
