Alberto García-Alix

Born 1956, León, Spain.
Lives and works in Madrid, Spain.
García-Alix is a photographer, audiovisual artist, writer, and editor. In Spain, he received the National Photography Award in 1999, and the PHotoEspaña award in 2012; from the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres in France, he earned the distinction of “chevalier.” His work has been shown at the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, Spain, the Maison Européenne de la Photographie, Paris, the Moscow House of Photography, and the Museo Nacional del Prado, Madrid, among others.
