A renowned cinematographer, Jafa was the director of photography on a number of high profile feature films. Recent exhibitions include the Hammer Museum of Art, Los Angeles (2016); Gavin Brown’s enterprise, New York (2016); and the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles (2016). Jafa is currently working on a solo exhibition to be held at the Berkeley Art Museum & Pacific Film Archives in autumn 2018.
