Laurianne Bixhain studied at the École d'enseignement supérieur d'art in Bordeaux and at the Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst in Leipzig. She recently participated in the collective “FLUX Feelings”, produced by Luxembourg’s Lët’z Arles for the 2017 Rencontres de la Photographie d’Arles, and the European Month of Photography in Berlin (2016). She was resident artist at Paris’ Fondation Biermans-Lapôtre (2018), the Fonderie Darling in Montreal (2017), and Manchester’s Islington Mill (2016). She won the Luxembourg Encouragement for Artists Prize (2018), and was a finalist for the Edward Steichen Award (2017) and the ING Unseen Talent Award (2016).
