Piero Martinello
Born 1985 in Schio, Italy. Lives and works in Venice, Italy.
Piero Martinello is a portrait photographer trained at Fabrica, the United Colors of Benetton communication research centre. There he worked for Colors Magazine, on institutional campaigns for Benetton, and on social projects for clients such as World Health Organization. After working for Broomberg & Chanarin on War Primer 2, he started freelancing for international magazines and communication agencies, mainly in Italy and Spain. His works have been exhibited at the Moscow Museum of Modern Art, Le Dictateur (Milan), Basilica Palladiana (Vicenza), Carrè Rotondes Gallery (Luxembourg), Foto-Forum (Bozen), Palau Robert (Barcelona), and the Fabrica Features Shop (Lisbon), and published in The Financial Times, The Guardian, Forbes Magazine, Harper’s Bazaar, Le Monde, GQ, D Repubblica, Internazionale, and Esquire.
