Natasha Caruana holds a masters in photography from the Royal College of Art, London, and is a senior lecturer of photography at the University for the Creative Arts in Farnham, UK. In 2014, Caruana was nominated for Foam’s Paul Huf Award, and was shortlisted for the Deutsche Bank Pyramid Prize in 2008. She has been named as ‘one to watch’ in the Royal Photographic Society Journal and was selected by the Humble Arts Foundation as one of 18 leading female art photographers currently working in the UK. Caruana’s work has been shown internationally including in the United States, China, Australia, Saudi Arabia, Poland, and Germany. Her work is held in numerous private collections and in the public collections of the British Library, the Women’s Library, and, in the United States, the Kinsey Institute.
