Nicolás Consuegra
Born 1976, Colombia. Lives and works between Boston, MA and Bogotá, Colombia.
Nicolás Consuegra holds a BFA (Universidad de los Andes, Bogotá, 2002) and a MFA (Pratt Institute, NYC, 2007). He is currently pursuing a Masters in the Art, Culture and Technology program from MIT, Cambridge. In Colombia, he has exhibited at the Biblioteca Luis Ángel Arango; 41, 42 and 43 Salón Nacional de Artistas; and the International Encounter of Medellín—MDE07, among others. Internationally, his has exhibited at venues such as Itaú Cultural, São Paulo; CCA Wattis Institute, San Francisco; Bard Graduate Center, NYC; Santral, Istambul; and Havremagasinet, Boden, among others. His projects explore concepts related to time, place, and audience.
