Johanna Calle
Born 1965 Bogotá, Colombia. Lives and works in Bogotá.
Johanna Calle holds a BA (Universidad de los Andes, Bogotá) and MFA (Chelsea College of Art, London). She has exhibited internationally in prominent museums and galleries since 2002. Her work experimentally deals with the concept of drawing through a variety of medium to explore critical issues such as gender roles, violence, environmental topics, urbanization and communication.
