Alnis Stakle is a photographer and the a professor of photography at the Rigas Stradins University. He holds a PhD in Art Education from the Daugavpils University (Latvia). Since 1998, his works has been exhibited widely, including solo and group exhibitions at the Latvian Museum of Photography, Latvian National Museum of Art, Modern Art Oxford, Moscow Contemporary Art Center Winzavod, Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes (Buenos Aires), Centre for Fine Arts BOZAR (Brussels), in addition to being held in private and public collections.
