Marie Bovo

Born 1967, Alicante, Spain. Lives and works in Marseille, France.

Marie Bovo’s work has been the focus of monographic exhibitions at the Chambre-Espace d’Exposition et de Formation à l’Image, Fernet-Branca Foundation, California Museum of Photography, Frac Paca, Institut Français in Madrid, MEP, Luìs Serpa Projectos, Lisbon, ERA Foundation in Moscow and Roger Pailhas gallery. It has also appeared in group shows at the Milan Triennale, MAS-Metropolitan Art Society in Beirut, Pavillon de l’Arsenal in Paris, Chicago Museum of Contemporary Art, Maxxi in Rome, MAC Marseille and Busan Biennale in South Korea. In 2016, she was nominated for New York’s ICP Infinity Awards. Ms. Bovo is represented by kamel mennour, Paris/London and OSL Contemporary, Oslo.
