Nieves Mingueza is a Spanish-British artist, researcher, educator, and curator. Her practice interweaves documentary photography, archival material, collage, text, and installation. Bridging the space between the personal, political, and conceptual, she explores subjects such as violence against women, mental health, and memory. She holds an MA in Photography. Currently, she is a PhD Student at LCC, University of Arts London, United Kingdom. Her work has been exhibited widely including installations at Peckham 24, Revela-T and PHotoESPAÑA. Mingueza’s work has been recently reviewed by British Journal of Photography, Fisheye, Babelia and Firecracker. In 2019 her first monograph book was published.
