Aurélien Froment graduated from the École des Beaux-Arts in Nantes. He works in many media, including cinema, photography, installation, performance and sculpture, has programmed a retrospective of films by Raoul Ruiz and teaches at the University of Edinburgh Art School. His work has been exhibited at the Institut pour la photographie (Lille, 2021), M-Museum (Leuven, 2017), Musée des Abattoirs (Toulouse, 2016), Badischer Kunstverein (Karlsruhe, 2015), CAG (Vancouver, 2014) and FRAC Ile-de-France (Paris, 2014). He participated in the Dakar (2016), Sydney (2014), Venice (2013), Lyon (2011), Yokohama (2011) and Gwangju (2010) biennials.
