Known for her innovative, politically motivated work, Rosângela Rennó is a graduate of fine arts academy École Guignard (1986), Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (1987), in architecture, with a doctorate from the School of Communications and Arts, University of São Paulo ECA-USP (1997). She’s participated in numerous international events in art. In 2021, La Pinacoteca de São Paulo held a retrospective of her work covering thirty years of her career. Her art has been shown at major institutions and is a part of various private and public collections around the world.
