After taking his degree from the Musrara school of photography in Jerusalem in 2004, he had his first exhibition in Paris a year later, during a residency at the Cité Internationale des Arts: the series Identification N°925596611 dealt with illegal Palestinian workers in Israel.
In 2006 he joined Israeli photographer Pavel Wolberg for the exhibition "Ramallah-Tel Aviv, au jour le jour", at the Hôtel de Ville in Paris. Subsequently the City of Paris commissioned another project – "Paris le jour – Paris la nuit" – from the same two photographers.
He presented his solo exhibition Vivre en Palestine at the Visa pour l'Image photojournalism festival in Perpignan, France. Far removed from the burning issue of war, this black and white series looks at living conditions in hospitals and refugee centres and camps.
Collections featuring his work include the Maison Européenne de la Photographie in Paris and France's National Contemporary Art Collection.
