Margherita Crocco is photographer influenced by her academic background in anthropology. However she finds it necessary to use photography in a more abstract and plastic way. The proposed photographic project is constructed on a paradoxical parallelism.
On the one hand the architecture, which becomes a metaphor of lines and shapes to contemplate where the details of the structures disappear to reveal its essence.
On the other hand a naked body which is in its essence, transient or a a fleeting face.
The opposition between the structures of the permanent architecture and the naked body and the face disappearing refer to the transcendence of the human being and to the relative permanence of the human creation.
