Caroline Cartie
Que pasa!

A ten-minute journey to the heart of the news, from May 1968 to 2008. Since 2006, France Inter and the Rencontres d’Arles have been offering an “encounter” with the work of radio presenter Caroline Cartier during the Night of the Year.
Taking pieces from her “Cartier Libre” programme, broadcast every morning on France Inter at 8.55am, Caroline Cartier has devised a unique ten-minute sound montage – in the manner of a photographic collage – about the 40th anniversary of May ’68.
This performance will be presented to visitors using the five-channel sound system (the five speakers each produce a different sound). It will be a unique opportunity to discover Caroline Cartier’s work live; and she will mix live for much of the night.
