PHOTOGRAPHY AND SOCIAL NETWORKS
Seminar. Having become one of the main amateur artistic practices, photography has now taken over the new distribution areas offered by social networks. What does ‘online photography’ teach us about modifications currently underway or about enduring features in young people’s practices? With a view to better grasping how these new practices may influence younger generations’ fictional, imaginary and
symbolic worlds, we will attempt to decipher, analyse and comprehend these new photographic conversations in a seminar with artists, researchers and teachers.
Organised by the Ministère de l’Éducation Nationale, the Ministère de la Culture et de la Communication, the SCÉRÉN-CNDP network, the Institut National de la Jeunesse et de l’Éducation populaire, the Ligue
de l’Enseignement, the Maison du Geste et de l’Image, the École Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie d’Arles et les Rencontres d’Arles.
