Gobelins & The Rencontres

The Rencontres d’Arles 2012 now has an application available at App Store. Created by five students studying online digital design at the Gobelins, École de l’Image, this application offers practical, playful and original functionality. The students : William Mapan, Baptiste Rasschaert, Ali Namdari-Fisher, developers, Chloé Moriceau and Aline Kesting, both graphic designers. The application invites visitors to discover the festival. With it they can read the biographies of exhibiting artists, locate exhibition sites, find practical information, schedules, etc. Visitors can also personalise contents via a Favourites function. Extras: integrated ticketing and ‘Sourire’ (Smile), an amusing application that allows users to take photos of themselves with the festival mascot.
